Installation Steps

  1. Download the .dmg file for your architecture
  2. Open the DMG file
  3. Drag AeonSage to Applications
  4. Launch from Applications folder
On first launch, you may see a security prompt:
  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
  2. Click Open Anyway next to the security warning

First-Time Setup

Launch AeonSageOpen the application from your applications folder or start menu.

Configure AI ProviderOn first launch, you’ll be prompted to configure an AI provider:
  • OpenAI: Enter your API key
  • Anthropic: Enter your API key
  • Ollama: Install and run Ollama locally

Start ChattingType a message in the chat interface to start using AeonSage.

Built-in Gateway

The Desktop app includes a built-in Gateway server. No separate installation needed.

Updates

Automatic Updates

The app checks for updates automatically. When an update is available:
  1. You’ll see a notification
  2. Click to download and install
  3. Restart to complete the update

Manual Check

  1. Open Settings → About
  2. Click Check for Updates

Uninstall

Use Add or Remove Programs to uninstall AeonSage.
